Frank Clement (second from right) and Beverly Briley (far right) attend St. Patrick's Day "Stag Party" at the Colemere Club. (Others in photo not yet identified).
Frank Clement served as the 41st Governor of Tennessee from 1953 to 1959, and again from 1963 to 1967. Inaugurated for the first time at age 32, he was the state's youngest and longest-serving governor in the 20th century.
At the time this photo was taken, Beverly Briley served as Davidson County Judge, a position he held from 1950 to 1963. Briley became the first mayor of the newly consolidated metropolitan government of Nashville, serving three terms from 1963 to 1975, prevented by term limits from running again.
